The Makita JR001G XGT 40Vmax Reciprocating Saw has an efficient brushless motor with electronic 2-speed selection (switch on top of handle) and trigger controlled variable speed. Equipped with constant speed control so it remains at speed, even under load. The electric brake provides increased user safety during operation.

The ergonomically designed handle provides increased comfort and is easy to hold. There is also a retractable joist hook in the handle side. Offers quick and easy blade changes, no more looking for a hex key, thanks to the tool-less blade change and blade ejection lever. It also offers tool-less shoe adjustment. A handy LED job light provides workpiece illumination, ideal in dark spots.

XPT (Extreme Protection Technology) provides improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh job site conditions.
