Details

The Makita DKP181 Brushless LXT Planer features Automatic Torque Drive Technology: the speed is automatically changed according to load condition for optimum operation.
For added user safety it has a soft start feature and an electronic brake, with a choice of left or right chip ejection.
The base features 3 chamfering grooves and the depth of cut may be adjusted by simply turning the knob on the front of the tool.
A spring-loaded stand elevates the base to protect the blades and workpiece. Its easy blade setting system and on-tool hex wrench storage provide fast, easy blade replacement.
