T-handle JIS screwdriver, complete with 6 x JIS screwdriver bits and a magnetic bit holder. Similar in look to a Phillips screw, JIS screws are commonly found on Japanese equipment and are designed not to not allow the screwdriver to slip out of the screw head.

For use on Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) screws as used on Japanese products and vehicles such as Honda, Shimano bike components, Tamiya radio controlled cars etc. The use of the correct bit helps prevent cam out and damage to the screw heads.

JIS Fixings are usually identifiable by a single dot or an "X" to one side of the cross slot.

T handle manufactured from Chrome Vanadium CV6140. Size: 100 x 150mm.

6 x JIS bits No 1, 2, 3. Manufactured from S2 material. Supplied with standard 1/4" magnetic bit holder.

    My Honda bike was made in 2019 and despite JIS being discontinued 11 years earlier Phillips head bits still strip the screws on this bike like butter.The bits that come with this screwdriver fit the screws like a glove and grip on tight allowing me to loosen all the tight screws without even scratching them.

    The T handle tool is a game changer for working on bikes as you can fit other bit sizes and sockets off another bit set not just the JIS bits that come with it. Saves me having to get the whole socket set out. Just wish the bit holder had a spare for the extra bit that comes already in the T handle but thats just me nit picking👍

    Purchased because all my other bit drivers are ratchets, and I was worried about putting too much torque on a fragile mechanism. So my intended use was dealing with stuck screws, or when driving one into hard wood, while applying lots of force. But where it really shines is after adding a socket adapter and some PVC tube around the main shaft: it becomes a spinning T-bar to drive nuts and bolts very fast. The JIS bits that come with it are a nice bonus too.

    Real handy for bikes.Has 2 of each bit so can be used in other tools like socket screwdriver with standard bit holder.Cant believe I have never got Jis bit before this Fits jap bike screws perfect.

    Acheté uniquement afin d'avoir les embouts JIS, qui a priori ne sont pas vendus seuls. Très bons embouts rien à dire, vous en avez deux de chaque. La poignée est très solide mais lourde, possible de mettre l'embout dans les deux extrémités du T également.Ça serait parfait si les embouts seuls étaient dispos pour un prix plus bas
