The Laser 8243 kit allows the Hyundai and Kia 1.6 AdBlue diesel engine to be locked in its timed position, when timing belt replacement and engine timing checks are to be accurately performed.
Hyundai applications include: i30 (from 2019), i40 (from 2018), Kona (from 2018) and Tucson (from 2018).
Kia applications include: Ceed (from 2018), Optima (from 2018), ProCeed (from 2019), Sportage (from 2018), Stonic (from 2018) and XCeed (from 2019).
Equivalent to OEM tools: 09240-2U100, 09240-2U400, 09240-2U300 and 09240-2U500.
Engine codes covered include: 1.6L D4FE (U3).
For flywheel locking use with Laser Part No. 7348. For high pressure diesel pump removal use with Laser Part No. 8111. Made in Sheffield.
