The Connect Taper & Plug Taps M8 x 1.0, 2pc - CPL (Part Number: CPL) is a genuine Connect product, supplied through official UK distribution.

Two piece thread cutting hand tap set, comprising of a taper tap and plug tap. The taper tap has a gradual cutting action, due to the pronounced chamfer of the thread, making it suitable for starting a thread. The plug tap has far less of a chamfer and is used after the taper tap to get close to get to the bottom of the hole.
