Trigger / Ratchet Clamps
Trigger clamps are simple bar clamps which can be quickly adjusted. They have a fixed jaw on one end of the bar and a moveable jaw which slides up and down the bar on the other, this jaw is controlled by a trigger hence the name. They are often designed to use one handed where a quick exertion of pressure is required on a workpiece. A good quality trigger clamp should have; a sturdy, high quality bar, non marking clamping pads and a maximum clamping force of at least 90-100KGs.
