Knipex Series 79 ESD Precision Electronics Side Cutters are fitted with electrically discharging handles (dissipative). They provide an optimised flush cutting result in soft materials and are perfect for installations with tight tolerances and for precise configuration of wire ends. These pliers are 20% lighter than conventional electronics pliers and are fitted with ergonomically optimised multi-component handles.

The extremely precise ground and sharp cutting edges are perfect for exact cutting on delicate electronic components and the cutting edges have been additionally induction hardened to approx. 64 HRC. Cutting blades are made of high-quality ball bearing steel with a polished finish and have been processed with the highest degree of care.

They have a bolted joint that has carefully manufactured joint surfaces for even, low-friction movement throughout the entire opening range. Each opening movement is gentle and even without backlash, thanks to the smooth-running double spring. Each work step proceeds reliably and precisely. This makes work much easier for professionals.
