Putty

The types of putty available fall into 3 categories. Double glazing putty is brown in colour and specially formulated for sealing double glazed units into hard or softwood frames, where a timber bead is to be used. Multi purpose linseed oil putty, available in brown or natural, is used for sealing glass into wood or metal window frames. Plumbers putty is a ready mixed non-setting putty designed for sealing and bedding soil pipes, sanitary joints, and sink and waste water fittings.
