Flat Files
These are the most common type of file, used on ferrous and non ferrous metals for filing flat surfaces and all types of work. Flat files are slightly tapered in width and thickness towards the tip. Double cut on both sides and single cut on both edges. Available in three grades, coarse (bastard cut), medium (2nd cut), and smooth, and in several sizes, handled or without handle.
