For use on the pre-tensioned cover locking device of a self adjusting clutch. It is also suitable for the locking discs and plates used on air and electric grinders and sanders.

Usable range: 12mm - 115mm. Fully adjustable opening with 4mm diameter pin face wrench.

Equivalent to OEM 3212.

Also suitable for locking plates found on later models of VAG models with SAC clutches.

The tool is recommended for use with the SAC Clutch Compressor Master Kit (Part No. 7027) & the SAC Mandrel Set (Part No. 6853).

Manufactured from chrome vanadium.

I used this to undo the RA lock ring on an EQ6-R Pro telescope mount. I spent hours trying to use the recommended filter strap wrench without effect. This item with 3.8(4?)mm pins worked without issue and had the job done in 30 seconds. The pins were a tight fit for the holes in the ring. I tapped the pins into each hole very lightly with a small hammer and tapped them out again from behind after the job was done. Recommended for anyone wanting to service the EQ6-R Pro mount.

I had a very reluctant hub on a motorcycle wheel. With some heat and this wrench it easily came away. The wrench looks unmarked. A good purchase and a welcome addition to the toolbox.

I have bearing retainers screwed in on my motorcycles. I had to drill out the holes slightly to get this to fit, but the 4mm pins are nice and solid, so better this way than going to smaller pins. It is a lovely sturdy tool and really simple. I am very happy and happy to recommend. this scissor like construction makes it suitable for fittings with any spacing between holes, so for example, all of your angle grinders, not just one. A brilliantly simple and effective tool. Worth buying just for the elegance of it.

Pretty good for everyday use but if your disc is stuck this will not get it off, you will have to use a plugging chisel and hammer, but very handy to have, better than the other adjustable spanners on the market.
